Director of Sales

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Sales Director. In this role, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will play a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new customers and grow revenue. You will lead a sales team of Account Managers and Account Executives to identify sales and revenue expansion opportunities and transform them into actionable strategies and plans while partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize member segmentation, account targeting, routes to market, and ultimately achieve sales and revenue targets.

What you will do

As our Sales Director, you will develop and implement comprehensive member acquisition strategies that align with the company’s objectives and target markets. This includes identifying the most effective channels, tactics, and messaging to reach and engage potential customers. You will leverage data and analytics to track, measure, and analyze member acquisition and revenue expansion efforts’ effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, optimize campaigns, and continuously improve performance. You will work closely with RevOps and Finance in process optimization, including designing and implementing efficient methodologies, forecasting, and reporting. Partnering with product and product marketing will also be essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of product offerings and revenue objectives. Subsequently, develop and execute plans to maximize sales and revenue growth opportunities. In this role, you will also own the Sales Incentive Compensation planning and design process. Align quotas with segments, determine over-assigns, and compare historical to advise on planned growth.

What you will bring along

We expect you to have 10+ years of combined Sales, including 5+ years’ of experience managing sales teams in an Enterprise Software/SaaS company. You are a passionate leader who loves to mentor teams for consistency. You will bring excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and project management skills and be adept at driving results. You are metrics-oriented with strong pipeline management.

  • Exceptional communication and active listening skills to discern member needs and address objections effectively.
  • Driven, hard-working with high standards for self and others; have a positive mindset, from integrity to reliability to general kindness toward people.
  • Experience in the aviation industry with knowledge of air charter operations is a plus but not required.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally 30% of the time.
