IGEday 2026
March 20, 2026
We’re hosting IGEday!
On March 20, we’re welcoming girls and non-binary teens to our Gothenburg office at Västra Hamngatan 12 for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.
For one day, our office becomes a space to explore engineering up close. We’re proud to take part in IGEday and to open our doors to the next generation of curious minds who want to see what tech looks like in real life.
What is IGEday and what to expect?
Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day is about making engineering real. It connects girls and non-binary teens with people working in tech and gives them the opportunity to explore what a career in engineering can actually look like.
At Avinode Group, the day is hands-on and immersive. Through interactive sessions, practical workshops, and open conversations with our engineers, participants test ideas, solve problems, and experience what it feels like to step into the role of an engineer for a day. It’s active, engaging, and built around curiosity.
We want the girls and non-binary teens who join us to ask questions, challenge themselves, and leave with real insight into tech. Better technology is built by teams with different perspectives, and opening our doors is one meaningful way to move that forward.
