Customers first at NBAA, and every other day

Last week the Avinode team gathered for an intense few days of meetings, product demos and networking at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) conference. Thirty Noders traveled from three offices to meet new and familiar faces. Our goal is to learn about what excites the industry and how we can better serve our members.

Last week the Avinode team gathered for an intense few days of meetings, product demos and networking at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) conference. Thirty Noders traveled from three offices to meet new and familiar faces. Our goal is to learn about what excites the industry and how we can better serve our members. As an agile company, we constantly tout how important customer interaction and feedback is to our work. Rarely do we see how quickly one customer’s feedback becomes an action. Last week was different. 

Avinode, SchedAero and PayNode teams gathered to greet members, and heard many ways our suite of software powers productivity. In other cases, we heard areas we could improve. One member mentioned a small issue he had been experiencing in the system. SchedAero Sales Manager, Heidrich and Product Specialist Justin relayed the issue to our team of engineers. From there, our engineers Jeremy and Lou worked on a remedy that was quickly verified by tester Gunilla. Just hours later, that same customer returned to the good news. Tight feedback loops between customer, sales, product specialist and engineers enabled us to fix a small issue. And our customer-first mentality doesn’t stop on the trade show stand. Be sure to provide feedback to our team and in the system to help us shape better solutions for you.
