Since the market crashed, in late 2008, the business aviation industry has been searching for signs of recovery. Copious forecasts have been released predicting an imminent turnaround, but none has been forthcoming. Then in mid-2013 something changed. Flight activity began to stabilize in the United States, and Europe saw their first increases in flight activity after three years of near constant decline. Even outside of the industry it was clear things were changing.

While it’s true that we can’t discern a full story from only 6 months of data, the real question is whether 6 positive months are enough to confirm that we are finally seeing the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.
