What a Customer Success Manager really does
At the heart of Paige’s role is understanding how our members work and helping them get the most out of Avinode. She spends her time reviewing setups, adjusting pricing profiles, routing rules, and schedules, and making sure teams feel confident using new features and releases. Training is a big part of her week, whether she is introducing a new company to the platform or helping long-time users refresh their knowledge.

Member visits are also part of her work. They give her a clearer picture of how teams operate and where Avinode can support them best, but what matters most to her is building relationships where people feel supported and comfortable reaching out.
Supporting two very different regions
Working across Europe and the Asia-Pacific gives Paige a broad and fascinating view of the charter industry. Europe is where she first built her foundation and grew confident in the day-to-day rhythm of member support. APAC adds a new layer of learning, with each country bringing its own business culture, expectations, and style of communication. It keeps her curious and constantly adapting.
What stands out most to her is how relationship-driven the region is. Trust is built through genuine, repeated interactions, and meeting people in person carries real weight. “It is a very relationship-focused region. People want to feel that you are truly there to support them,” Paige says.
Working closely with APAC members has already shaped how she approaches her role. Trust takes time and patience. Many teams still use traditional workflows, which creates exciting opportunities to help them discover more efficient and strategic ways of working. She has found APAC members to be motivated, curious, and eager to make the most of Avinode. The strong sense of community means one great relationship often leads to new connections and conversations.
“People really want to use Avinode well and get things right. Working with that kind of energy makes my job meaningful and fun.”
From Colorado to Hawaii to Sweden
Paige’s journey to Avinode spans multiple corners of the world. She grew up in Colorado, moved to Hawaii for university, and somewhere between lectures and beach days met a Swede who convinced her to trade palm trees for Stockholm. Of course, her cat, Melvin, made the move from Hawaii to Sweden as well.
“He somehow convinced me to move from tropical paradise to the cold north,” she laughs. Despite the climate shock, she has found her place in Sweden. She enjoys cycling classes, pilates, shopping, and spontaneous weekend trips, and she has settled surprisingly well into Swedish life for someone who once lived in Hawaii.
Travel remains one of her greatest passions. Paige has visited 29 countries so far and hopes to reach 30 before turning 31. The Nordic slopes and European Alps, however, have yet to spark much interest. Even with time spent in both Colorado and Sweden, she jokes that skiing is still something she is trying to master. “I’m still learning,” she says.
Finding her place at Avinode Group
Paige describes Avinode Group as an international environment where people are trusted to do their jobs and encouraged to grow and develop. She values the flexibility of remote work while still enjoying the days she spends in the Gothenburg office.
“There is a lot of trust here. I feel supported and valued. And because we have people from so many places, you always learn something new. It keeps things interesting.”
Paige’s role now spans two continents, but what keeps her grounded is the culture around her. She is excited to keep growing into the APAC region, building relationships, and helping members work smarter in Avinode.
“My goal is always to make people’s day a little easier,” she says. “When someone feels confident using the system, that is the best part of the job.”
