Test Lead
Avinode is looking for a Test Lead to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is an opportunity to get to work with skillful colleagues, up to date technology, and in an agile environment where personal development is high priority, without deadlines.
- Work with our cross functional product development teams
- Leverage best practices in continuous integration, quality assurance and delivery. We ship code daily to our customers
- Work remotely from anywhere in Sweden, or on site at our office in Gothenburg
What you will do
- As a product expert, you will be able to answer product related questions from colleagues and demonstrate new and existing features.
- You will have responsibility for testing new features and code, as well as regression testing of existing application features.
- You will work with the technical teams to understand feature requirements and design a testing strategy that minimizes bugs.
- You will work with the technical teams to maximize automated test coverage and test coverage in our continuous integration environment.
- You actively participate in your team’s meetings and are prepared for them. This includes things like daily standup, planning and retrospective meetings
- You are active in guilds and other forums to spread your knowledge of testing best practices.
Who you are
- You have an eye for quality, risk assessment, and streamlining of our testing processes.
- You test features at a reasonable pace, are able to multitask between different projects, and ask for help when needed.
- You are proficient with the tools and technologies in our stack (JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, etc
- You actively share knowledge with others.
- You communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing
- You have a strong sense of inner drive and responsibility
